How did the plastidip hold up?
Add me to the list. Considering plastic dipping mine to match my sled. I can get a set of precision tubes but they don't match my sled.

I see allot of clamps that look like replacements for stock. Are the stock clamps weak and should I replace mine?

Any clamp that doesn't leak will work. If it tightens uniformly, stays round, and maintains tension so the hose doesn't leak (boost, vacuum, fuel, oil, etc.) it will work.
For sure there are better clamps than stock ones.
