My starter died last weekend while in NY. I went to the dealer and they wanted $472 dollars for a new one. I found a new Kimpex on ebay for $148. I read some people saying they died after a month. I ordered the kimpex to get me through the rest of the season. I didn't have time to get the original one out and take it apart to see what the problem is. Anybody have one of these starters on their sled and if so, how long?
