Have 23 tooth top gear and I'm about to install the white secondary spring. Which spring position is favorable? Stock spring position? I am running a 1.25 fully clipped unpicked Ripsaw, if that has any bearing. Your input would be appreciated.

I would leave the stock spring in if you don't have any studs.... That is JMO... The white spring gives a great whole shot, but you need traction to make it work on the 121.

Hole shot is great, however I am after more mid range performance and maybe a little more top end. I was under the impression that the white spring would hold up the shifting and afford me this. Typically any racing I have done is from a roll on, usually on the small lakes between trails. Increased corner to corner speeds would be great. I am not certain if I should use the stock spring location or try something different.

White spring should be 3/3 or 60. More than that and it will bind.

Thanks, will this give me what I am looking for? Or am I heading off course?

I just installed this in to a friends Apex Er and he is very pleased. He gets the hole shot he needs and holds off a slightly better than stock Apex GT with a 40lb heavier rider to top end by 3 lengths

Sounds good, sorry I am not clear on this but the heavier rider was on the Apex ER right? The ER took the GT by 3 lengths all the way to top. Was the ER running stock gearing?

Before the spring change the GT with a 40lb heavier rider would get by the ER by about a length. Now with the spring the ER gets the GT by about 3. Everything else is stock on the ER
