No, in front of skid will cool the hyfax's, back of skid will cool the rear cooler which cool's engine.

In theory yes, but I feel the snow thrown up from the scratchers will ultimately help both. My mid skid mounted scratchers fill my entire skid with snow in a matter of a couple miles, which tells me it is making to the hyfax and all the way to the front cooler (neither of mine have rear coolers).
