My battery on my 07 Vector GT, just crapped out. It's about 3 yrs old. What do you guys suggest for a new one. Should I stay with the YUASA battery or switch to something else?
Thanks

I like Interstate or Die Hard batteries myself. If you follow this board, it seems like the YUASA's are hit or miss. Some last a good long time (like my original battery) and some don't make it past 2 years.
If I was in a position where I had time to order/wait for one, I'd go I'State or Die Hard for sure.

Always had good luck with Yuasa but you do have to periodically charge them or leave them on a battery tester, just like any battery.
When charging, make sure you are using the proper charger, like a battery tender. If you give them too much juice or over charge them, they will not last.

Just replaced my battery on my 05 RS Vector ER after 5 years. Decided to go with another Yamaha battery that turned out to be a Yuasa. Cost $10.00 more that a non-Yamaha Yuasa battery. Probabily the same battery. Interstate is also a very good battery choice in my book. I also use the Tender.

I am getting worried I still have my original battery and I have never put it on a charge during off season. Since it's like 5-6 years old I suppose I should buck up and buy a new one already or this will be the year it leaves me in the woods. I am going to try to find the exact replacement if possible this Yuasa battery has outlasted everything but my optima in my boat! Part of me wants to run it and see if it makes another season but it's probably not worth the test...

Don't really want to tell you to go ahead and use it but if the charge is up, the fluid level is ok and the rest of the battery is in good shape I would.
Batteries are funny, either their good or their not, no really in between with them.
If you do a lot of long trips or saddle bag trips deep into the bush, then by all means replace it as you have gotten your monies worth and more out of it.

Dont fix what is not broke. Put an optimate III or battery tender type of charger on it and run it. The battery that came stock in my quad is 9 years old and still performs like a new battery. The batteries in my sleds only lasted about 4 years the difference being the quad is used all year long and the sleds sit for long periods of time which is hard on batteries. If you keep a float charger on them they will last a very long time.

Thanks for the information.
Believe it or not the batteries from Batteries Plus are great. I've been using them for years in motorcycles with nothing but good luck. My 650 single likes to hit the dirt many times per ride. I crank the hell out of the engine to restart it; the battery has endless power. The CCA's are up there with the best too.
