TY 4 Stroke Junkie
I have a 2003 rx-1 with HH stage 1. When I come into a corner hard on the brakes when gassing out of the corner the belt will sometimes squeak. I have also notices skid marks on the top of the belt guard. Has anyone els experienced this? What is the cause and fix?

Sounds like a worn belt. Check how high it rides on the secondary and adjust shims as necessary or replace the belt.

I just put in a new belt. The sled actually did the same thing when I had the stock clutching, I added twist to the secondary and that helped.

I had a similar problem too on my 03 when new. I would be going 20 mph or so, lock the brakes to do a 180, and everytime I hit the gas it would squeak. I tried more twist and it helped but still did it. Put in silver spring twisted to 70 and it hasn't squeaked yet. By the way, the stock spring didn't measure to specs either. It was too short with at least 1/4 coil missing. Muskrat
