Yea buddy i ran 12lbs all last year. Had head off looked like new. But i never did back to back passes and never longer than 1000 foot.

I will turn up the boost first and see what happends.

Our ditches are full of snow in Iowa, It blew like crazy last night. I want to see what it will do in the powder tonight.

powder!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY ROCK!!! It will stand on the bumper!!! FUN FUN

Familyman - the only additive I know that works and it adds 2 full octane points is NOS race formula (not the street formula). What are you using?

How much snow do you have over there? Were ditching it tommorrow hoping to get 3" on Sunday.

I contacted Kemco Industries, Inc. They make Octane Supreme 130 in 32fl/oz.

It can go from 2.0 points to 16 points. I couldnt find an octane boost over the counter that puts out more then 10 points. It is not street legal! And can not be detected in fuel.

OCTANE SUPREME 130
An Octane Booster that really works! It's that simple. It contains 60 grams of GENUINE TETRAETHYL LEAD (TEL).(1)Boosts octane (2)Eliminates engine knock (3)Protects and lubricates valves and valve seats.

BigDog05, I wouldn't pull out your springs till you get a chance to try it. On my Bender last year I plumbed 2 lines & ran Blue springs (which are lighter yet) & it worked great.

They would be the lightest there is :-)

I will be riding my sled for a while before taking out the green ones. I may take her to the dyno in early february, I will bring the stock springs with me to put them in if the dyno operator tells me to, that would be the guys at MCXpress. Thanks Tony for slowing me down. I wanna ride.... tomorrow!

Well my old Bender is running like a rock star!! HAHAHA Lets say i need about 4-5grams more in the clutch!! HAHA :jump:

I ended up turning up the boost to 12lbs to get it to run better. I did order a 600 jet. What does everyone think about those jets. Should I order 700-800...ect??

I plan on putting the sled back to stock position and trying just jets in the intercooler. WOT cuts out on me once in awhile yet. Also still getting readings around 10-11 at wot.

I tied in all of my nipples that are on the carb boots into the bov. I used plastic tees and found that one broke on me yesterday. I could not find brass in 3/16". Who is using clamps? Tees other then plastic? Sealer? Thanks.

I suggest not using your cell phone while working on your carbs, because I am pretty sure I had a needle that was two clips off from the other three. By the time it sunk in...I was like did I just see what I think I saw???

Also I have been working on a few other possible problem areas....

Turnbuckle fix for the intercooler, and brass fittings everywhere...sealer where there are no clamps......Come on carb parts..I AM READY TRY AGAIN!

I am running stock carb settings (needle and jets) Ideal is 1/8 turn lean and a 700 charge tube jet. WOT is 11.5-12. Temp is 26 deg. 11lbs of boost

This is the best it has ran and I believe I have more room to grow. Understanding the basics on how this turbo works makes a big difference on the proper way to tune it (Thanks Travis!)

Well I let her legs stretch a little. The gps shows that 136" is running around 86 mph in 800' (stop and start right at 1000')

There are radar runs on sunday and been ask to go. So we will see what it will do in a true 1000'. I was told 122-123 mph is the top speed anyone has seen at this place, and they have never seen a turbo sled run there. Will be interesting. Wife is going maybe I can talk her into recording it.

Aah. Anyway, get that filter out the back for sure. I wouldent be suprized if I gained 10HP from it.

That is my next project for sure.

This thing just rocks. Nice to have it running good.

Rocked until I blew a head gasket.... :o|

Tear down this week and hope to have it ready before we leave north on Monday.
