Bender Stage 2 Install....

what does it run in 2000 feet and would you say in dollars how much invested to set it up right less your install as I know you did it. The problems as I have mentioned before is the right person installing it the right way.

Like Ulmers stated those are the prices. I don't know how hard it can be I have never in my life installed a supercharger or turbo on anything and did it with ease. There is nothing to installing one of these it is BOLT on. Everything is simple to do the instructions are easy to follow and there is no guesswork.

I have a very good turbo background though doing some heavy turning on a drag car I had so I have the experience with the fuel #'s and wideband tuning. Any vendor selling the kits though are more then willing to give fuel box numbers that will get you very very close.

Thanks for the numbers Allen.

Az I look forward to seeing your Apex this winter on the ice. My interests grow every day but still would like to know what it has run in 2000 feet on the gun. Soldiers bay is way to short for me.

I have posted a few times now that I have run 133 on the stalker gun in a 2000' measured distance with a Luftkin wheel. I have the large diameter one from Canadian tire I walk the track and mark the start and finish. My sled will run 130 in 4-6" of snow and the bigger mph on hardpack. I dunno what it would run on a plowed strip like you guys usually have its glare ice from what I have seen from the air in the helicopter.

130 MPH any day is nothing to shy away from. I was running out of gear last year with the setup I have now I have to get my clutches machined to go overdrive because we can't get any bigger gear in the top of the chaincase with reverse. I will be gearing down a couple teeth(gain accelleration) even though it was enough in that short soldiers bay as it was! and I will be getting more top end out of it. This by the way is run with the ripsaw track now some speed track or shaved track or anything goofy its done on a 1.25" track. Another friend of mine in quebec with a stage 1 was turning 148 mph in 2000' last year with the same setup as me but with a speed track and different gearing (no reverse) these things are more then capible of high top end speeds. If you need more then what Im running and want to beatup on guys for the day flip the pulleys make 10-12 psi of boost and run race fuel take it to the event lay the whoopings and go back home change your pulleys and trail ride.

That's hauling the mail!!!!

SWEET!!

((I have to get my clutches machined for overdrive))

You might not want to do that the contact patch on the clutch to belt will be smaller, and with the TQ that you have with a root blower it might not be good.

Adam your sled is working and working real good. Like you said 130 for a true trail sled in 2000 feet with a 1.25 track is awesome. It sounds more and more inviting every day.
