Bender Stage II Charge Tube

What material is used in the charge tube on the Bender turbos? I took a magnet to it and there is no attraction. It doesn't look aluminum. Looks like stainless steel but I have no idea.

Does stainless or titanium attract a magnet? How the heck can you tell the differences between the types of metals?

Can a steel BOV adapter be welded to stainless or titanium?

That bov adaptor I sent you is Stainless.

You should have no problems welding it to either.

Unless the kit is a Bender Stage 2 Mountain version from MPI. They were Ti like Jonny Rocket's kit. By the way thinksnow; high quality Stainless will not have a magnetic property. I'm not sure about titanium though.

Titanium is a different colour than stainless , Ti doesnt have magnetic properties either.

And Ti is very light compared to stainless. My charge tube weights nothing.
