I think in his 1st post for non-aspirated, meaning not Fuel Injected. Maybe?

Would be cool if it as FI!
 
After riding my Attak out west I have a strong desire to buy a 144" FX Chassis 130 HP sled that weighs in around the 480lbs mark. If they have that coming for '08 sign me up right now...It would look sweet sitting next to my Attak.

I think that would defeat the purpose of what they made. When I jump on the phazer i feel as though i am on my quad or my bike but yet i jump on the nytro and i definetly feel like i am back on a sled. I guess some day they will make the perfect sled for everyone! :-o
 
I think it is going to be this way - this years Phazer will stay the same - a new 3 cylinder version will replace the Nytro that will have 130 hp and EFI that is based on the SnoX sled - the turbo/sc will be put on the Apex - that is the most logical line up to cover all the bases - if they do that, they will really take a bite out of the market!! :-o ;)! :-o ;)!

I'm with ya no4smoke. The phazer is cool because of what it is. I don't know how you cross them. You can give the current Apex line some cues from the Phazer but watering down the Phazer to civilize it if you will would be a big mistake IMO.
 
I personally think the nytro will be in the fx chasis but the rest of the 130's will be in the apex chasis. The phazer chasis is cold and uncomfortable when compared to the apex chasis. JMO
 
Found this on yamaha's global site. I didn't have the translator so I couldn't read the captions but it is racing in the Japanese sno-x. Clearly, new body work, not a phazer, not the NA race sled, something else.

that looks way better than the ones that are in the states, the hood looks way better
 
My guess it is 2 different sleds, one would be a "race" replica with the 973 engine as base with 1050cc and EFI. The other will be a 750 gear reduced trippel apex/phazer style? both with 130hp?

I think they both look great!!! :Rockon:
