Just got back from the Big East show in Syracuse. Nice to see all the new products from the sled manufacturers and aftermarket vendors even though USD$15K+ for a new Sidewinder is out of the question for me! It was a bit sad to see the 50th anniversary Apex relegated to a much less prominent display behind a Yamaha billboard that was not visible from the main entrance.
Got to say hi and purchase Rockmeister's latest product, a ride light. My kids ride with me and I will put it on their sled so they can keep both hands on the bars.
Also picked up a new helmet for my son and found a 8DN belt for $50 at Highland Yamaha!
Overall it was worth the $9 for parking, $13 entrance fee (for 1 adult and 1 child), the $13 lunch of chicken fingers and water.
Now that my son has outgrown one helmet, my youngest can now fit into it. Looks like we have another sledder in the family!
Now I am going to sit back and relax with a beer in my new Yamaha coozie
