my s/c nitro, after I changed pullys for more boost, the blow off valve seems to hissing air even at idle. if I tighten the spring what effect will this have. it didn't do this before the change. Thanks for any help

Does it Close when you apply throttle?
I run a Vortech Race Bypass valve, it's always open at idle but it Closes immediately when I apply throttle and stays closed until I reduce or let off throttle.

It depends on the valve. Our first Gen. valve had both a positive and a negative input. Now we just use one port that uses vacuum to pull it open. When we ship out these kits the preload on the spring is very light. Go ahead and crank in the pre load on the spring it won’t hurt it at all.
