I have always had a small bog or hesitation going full throttle from a dead stop ( hotshot ) but never realized just how bad it was because there so fast, my buddy just got a sidewinder and his hole shots with no hesitation from 0 mile to the 559 miles we rode this weekend. Every fill up I used a gallon more gas and i never raced our other friend as he did.
Has any one else had any experience like this or have any suggestion on what is causing the bog or hesitation.
Once it over comes this it runs like my buddies or from a roll it runs as it should.
Sled now has 1319 miles on it and is a LTX LE my guess is its running rich on the bottom end, I plan to take it to the dealer but thought I'd though the question out first and maybe save a 2 hour trip one way.

I have the same slight hesitation when you wack the throttle out of the hole. I believe it may be the belt riding to low in secondary.
I was getting hesitation as well and I know my gas tank is not venting for $hit. I keep cracking the fuel cap and every time it wants to blow off.

Mine is doing this as well. I noticed from day one if you sat on it not running you would hear a whistle as air went through the vent on tank. Someone else on here posted about it as well. Need to check vent line for restriction.I was getting hesitation as well and I know my gas tank is not venting for $hit. I keep cracking the fuel cap and every time it wants to blow off.

Same thing here if you crack WOT down low, there is a split second delay. I dont believe its a bog but not positive.
Im thinking its clutching(soft primary spring) OR its just the turbo spoolup time?
But I have never rode another one to compare.
I have 2 springs coming from Dale to see if I can clutch around it, and then will know for sure what this is from.

What's interesting to me is that its happening on stockers and flashed. I have it also(happened 2 times in 1000 miles.. And not every WFO crackSame thing here if you crack WOT down low, there is a split second delay. I dont believe its a bog but not positive.

I really hope it just clutching...Maybe these daltons need alot more spring then stock in primary. Will know this very soon, and if not I will try the stock weights just to see, then try a flatter profile weight if that does not help. What's interesting to me is that its happening on stockers and flashed. Keep us posted.. I have a set of OSP adjustable(flatter profile) I could throw in mine also.. Running Heavy hittrs right now. But its a BIG (overall)weight difference between the two.. My heavy hitters are at 68.3 grams and when I ran the OSP > they were like 81.? gramsI really hope it just clutching...Maybe these daltons need alot more spring then stock in primary. I have noticed a small delay at times when I punch it as well. Mine doesn't seem like clutching but can't be sure. It also makes noise sometimes when I stop and shut it down. If I go open the gas tank it normally lets off pressure like a gas can in summer heat. Obviously the venting isn't sufficient.

Ya it's not really a bog but just like yours, but I'm thinking it's rich as I use a gallon more that my buddy every time and when I warmed it up the other day it was a black sute on the ground.Same thing here if you crack WOT down low, there is a split second delay. I dont believe its a bog but not positive.

Add some washers to the secondary bolt. Mine did the same thing until I added 2 more washers, now my belt is way higher. You are starting off lugging it more than you should be.

its not deflection on this one.....i have it set very taught, any tighter the sled moves. lolAdd some washers to the secondary bolt. Mine did the same thing until I added 2 more washers, now my belt is way higher. You are starting off lugging it more than you should be.
Will post findings with more spring, hope its not turbo lag. Clutching is alot easier to fix.
