Boondocker Turbo Video!

I expect the price will increase if they have to add an extra fuel system. I think the superchargers are pobably dealing with the same issues. I'm suspecting they can't deliver enough fuel at the required time for the extra boost.
Well...they will have to supply more if they plan on building
a gt-28rs kit next year! :Rockon:

I put a supercharger on my truck with 6psi max boost and it came with a bigger set of injectors as well as an auxillary fuel pump. Only difference was it's a 6 litre instead of a 1 litre. Point being, the manufacturers optimize the injector sizes for performance and durability. Start running excess fuel pressure through injectors and the tips will blow off, increase pulse widths too much and performance will suffer. Bigger or more injectors will do the job as long as their is sufficient fuel flow available, It's not rocket science, just a matter of getting the right amount of fuel in the available duration, with good atomization.

Not rocket science but math and real world testing works pretty good... I'm guessing the VE on a 1-liter is much better than a 6-liter so that will give you a little more room... Even so, for the reasons Slymax stated above, it's probably not a good idea to exceed 10lbs boost with the stock fuel system...

Quoted by DynoTech about the Apex: "Fuel was about 160 lb/hr at 42 PSI meaning there's plenty of EFI fuel flow available for boosted engines well over 250 observed HP"

VE = 3456xCFM / CIDxRPM
3456x185(639360) / 60x10100 (606000) = 1.05504950

The exhaust exits under the front not through the back.

It also doesn't build boost while it's idling. the Turbo spins but no boost is being built.

What an awsome sound!!! I thought the new Yammies sounded good stock, that's just too cool!
