Boost controller, eabc with pcv pti

I did call mpi. They said I better call Allen haha. The eabc is designed to work with the gems, gems only I Geusse.

LOL.. well my bud bought everything to convert from Gems to PCV and now we sit in the same predicament as you. Want the auto adjust boost with the better fuel control

Any update on this? I had also bought the pcv and a mpi stage 1 kit that I was just about to install.

EABC will not work with the Power Commander. If you want to run Power Commander then you will have to remove the EABC and use the manual setting on the waste gate.

The eabc solenoid say it's 12vdc on it couldn't you just take the power from somewhere on the sled or wire it like the gems is on the harness connection?

allen said the eabc changes the signal from the maf sensor to the pcv. it will not work even if you can get power to it.

a simple manual boost controller will work, im going with turbo smart boost tee.

That's too bad I hate having to buy more stuff for this project and not using suff I already paid for I still think there must be away to use the other boost sensor that comes with the gems and use it solely for the eabc and use the boost sensor that comes with the pcv-pti solely for the pcv

I hear ya bi. I'm so done with spending on this "dealer" installed turbo.

I think your way better off to do what I'm going with. The boost t is on eBay Canada for under 50. Just take the gems right off and replace the boost controller with this t.
Have you ran a boost gauge? I have. It's only really 1 psi your dealing with in the different altitude. I'm going to set it to just below 6 psi.

I am running the the pod-300 and a Wideband 2 connected to the PCV-PTI for AFR and boost. I picked up the boost tee after and I'm going to do the same as you said set it to just under 6 psi and leave it I'll take a picture when I finish the install of the gauge setup

Yes it is, it's the POD-300. It looks good and lots of features

Oooo why did you have to show me this!!

Does it plug in to the pcv?

Yes it uses a CAN cable and plugs in like all others pcv accessories. I have the Wideband 2 connected also that that's where my AFR comes from and the boost is right from the boost sensor on the PCV

Ok. That sounds awsome.
makes me wish I didn't buy the new afr gauge this seems like the way to go.

Your turbo shield is going to crack if you don't put a doubler on it....this was mine without doubler.
