Brake part numbers

I added a 4" riser to my 03 RX-1 and just re-routed the parking brake cable but now it broke so I want to replace it with the longer one. I looked at the 2008 Apex Mountain and got part number 8FS-26351-00- does that sound right?

Also, the parking brake pads are not listed separately for earlier models (must buy whole assembly) but they are listed for the 2011 Apex (8FA-W0045-00). Are these the same parking brake pads for all years?

8FK-26351-00-00 is what I used on sapling killers and my old black war. other than the letters looks to be the same part#. part # is from 05 rx1 mountain.

park brake pads look like they would work but I did not pull the pads out of a caliper. the calipers are the same though.

So I ordered the 05 Warrior Mountain cable and it is on back order until January 13th. Shouldn't the Apex Mountain part be the same even if it has a different number?

could be. I am not an expert with Yamaha part # though. the letters might just be a year of sled thing or a minor difference in the cable.
