Does the thicker bushing go on the inside or out side of the spindal when mounting my C&A skies? And should there be any play at all front to back on in the front end at the spindals? I have around 1000 miles on it.

You can run the bushings anyways you like. They're just meant to widen or narrow the ski stance. Front end play is a little subjective - I'm not sure if there is a standard tolerance (maybe ask your dealer?). I would think that if there's enough play that it would even seem excessive that I would look into what's causing it. There seems to be a lot of plastic bushing on these sleds that can wear out faster than the alternatives out there (if that's indeed what your case is).
Hope that helps some.

I prefer to install them with the wider bushing on the outside. It increases the width of the stance by just a bit.

Thanks for the help. I though that was the case on the bushings, and I will check a 0 mile sled a the dealer but I think I will just go with ulmer's bushings this summer. I think the play is in the ball joint.
