Going to attempt to shoehorn a 2.6 into an 08 MTX this weekend. I searched pretty hard to see if its been done and couldn't find any info.

Where did you find drivers for it ? I think it will be an excellent combo.

I also think 20/40 gears will be the ticket as well.

Apex mtx 162 is a 7 tooth 3" pitch. All cats since 05ish (I think) are 3" pitch.

The 2.6 powerclaw fits with 7tooth 3" drivers. Clearance is very tight but it fits. Everything looks good in the shop but haven't ran it in snow yet.

It worked great. Unbelievable the difference from the Maverick track.
