I'm looking to replace the track on my sled and need some advice.
I have a 2001 Phazer 500 dlx. The track is 121 x 15, 2.52 pitch. I use the sled almost exclusively to collect sap in my sugarbush and as a utility vehicle to tow things around the farm. I do some off trail riding to the neighbors house etc. There may be a few occasions where I ride on trail. I'm in northern Minnesota so there are some pretty good hills but no real mountains. I'm considering either a Camoplast Backcountry or Intense track. I'd appreciate some help on this decision as this is a pretty big investment for me.

A good set of Mountain skiis is where I would put my money to start. Then any 1.5-1.7 track should work for you. This is the 4stroke Phazer forums. The 2 stroke guys may be able to help you more since you have a 2 stroke and is a whole different sled.

The backcountry is a great track - lugs are pretty stiff and durable.
