Hi..... I just bought an 2007 Phazer Mountain Lite a couple days ago. It is only idling at 1300rpm. I finally found where to get in to turn up the idle but when I try turn the idle screw there is a lot of resistance there. It turns a bit then springs right back. I am afraid to really crank on it. Is the idle screw suppose to be this hard to turn? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Not suppose to be hard to turn. Maybe its already turned all the way? Try the other direction. If it works in that direction you might have to adjust the length of the cable.

your not trying to turn the whole assembly are you ? just use a screwdriver and turn the screw in center of Assembly wont take much to bring up 500 rpm

No I used a Philips screw driver and turned on the screw although it does feel like the whole thing wants to turn

Might be seized up or backed so far off its stuck. I would say put a little more torque to it worse case you end up pulling the air box

turn to the right to increase idle.
maybe the assembly came out of the bracket holder, which would cause the whole assembly to turn.
should be easy to turn.

Well we got it fixed. The assembly was sitting cross ways in the bracket and when I tried turning it again it popped right out. I removed the air box and placed it back in the bracket and squeezed it together so it shouldnt pop out again.
Thanks very much for the help.
