I wonder if castle would sell us these at the same price scoripion has them listed for?

I just spoke to Castle.. they filled me in with this bit of info:
Yes, Scorpion makes the CX950 for us. The AT950 was a new motorcycle helmet they had developed last year and we developed it to be a snow helmet for them.

Their website has a pricing mistake. If the person sending this link looks at the Dual Lens and Electric pricing on Scorpion's website, they will see both of them are showing $289.95. They will find when they go to website's that actually sell this helmet the price is $339.95 for an electric...just like the CASTLE X solid electric CX950.

You can get the Castle X version for $269 dual pane but everyone still wants $339 electric. I phtrchased mind for $300 with electric shield last season.

Yes you can but not with an electric shield I'm looking for an electric shield model once I've had one I don't want to go back

When was the castle x exo 950 launched? 2017? Has there been any changed since or to the 2018 model I'm thinking of pulling the trigger and if they have changed at all I want to make sure I'm getting the current model in looking at the blue and white slash to match the sidewinder

Launched last year and there are updates. Breath box and windshield are better and updated.

Ok thanks when I asked first place parts and upnorth sports waiting for a response on here they said there was no changes but I will see if I can get the 18 model as I want these updates

I spoke direct with Castle at Milwaukee Snow Show and was given the info at that time. I should be getting some updates VIA mail with the new parts and I will post them when they come in.

I just placed my order they told me it is the latest model and graphic. Just received into our store a month or so ago! I ordered the blue white and black slash model with electric shield

Dot approved only, LOL. Sorry for laughing but I just don't understand. Spend $15,000+ on a top shelf snowmobile, then cheap out and buy a Dot approved helmet.

The Breath Deflector is updated for this year with a vent screen below the chin instead of solid portion and the lining on the nose is a different material. The electric shield has been updated to work better by using a different shape and material with a green LED on the end of the plug in facing forward to let you know the power is working to the shield.

Snell rated or euro standards, lol $250/300 is cheap that's why it's only Dot approved.

a DOT will still safe your brain box.... most Snell Ratings were generated due to hard surface travel at high speeds.. Most helmets in the US are DOT only and not many are Snell rated. Snell is only rated for certain race bodies and its a special test for that purpose.
