Racing a 850 against a 800 is not a fair fight. Cat 800 did just fine in my books. Makes me wonder why Doo didn't bring the 800 to make the playing field fair.....my only assumption is Doo knew the outcome would have not been in there favorYamaha didn't have a sled in it cuz there were NO dealers nearby to participate.
We all know they are very far & few between.
Polaris dealer couldn't get their hands on theirs in time.
So blame it on COVID if you want.
The 850 Doo SPANKED them both.

Not at all, Confused ask me a question and I gave him my honest opinion, that's it, Stain completely blew a gasket over my opinion with his foolish rant, which had nothing to do with him or anyone else, just gave Confused my opinion because he asked, "its some easy" means that you guy's get worked up over someone voicing a opinion that does not reflect or pour down sunshine on your good decision that you bought and trail ride a winder, even in the lounge thread, not every rides a winder or can afford a winder, so you guy's keep that in mind on this site, So if you guy's are going to give it, you better be able to take it.so what's your point? are you saying you're here to piss people off with your bashing our choice of sled? Not trying to pour fuel on the fire nor do I know the history with folks on this forum, but 20/80 has a good point. When I ask a question I expect an answer even if its not the one I wanted to hear....
That fact is that all sleds are good sleds. As long as we are all supporting our sport and the trails we ride does it really matter?
Off topic. I am a hunter that fights everyday to be one. Whether it be the government or antis trying to take my right away. It still amazes me how many hunters and gun owners fight amongst themselves over what gun, caliber or bow is better. In the end it simply doesn't matter.
My point is, we are all sledders on this forum no matter what sled we ride.....hope folks will keep that in mind. Sorry for the rant

Boo Hoo, poor you. Let's all hold a pity party.
To infer that you are somehow a victim here is completely disingenuous.
no one here goes out of their way to "bash" your sled. You cant say the same.

Rant? Mostly facts..Stain completely blew a gasket over my opinion with his foolish rant
this was never the question, no one here has ever looked down on someone here for what they can and can't afford. To say that is, again, disingenuous.not every rides a winder or can afford a winder, so you guy's keep that in mind on this site,
thought this was an open thread?which had nothing to do with him or anyone else,
it goes both ways, except no one else here goes out of their way to piss on other people rides. So if you guy's are going to give it, you better be able to take it.

I share your view that as long as you are riding a sled and supporting the sport I dont care what you ride.
Do a search history.

This is the BEST sled forum on the interwebs. You will find more knowledge here than any other site. I was looking at the trail cam for the U.P. in Michigan and they are getting a white out right now. The forecast for Algonquin Park Ontario, where I do most of my riding looks favorable in the next 14 days......I do ride in the Gaylord Michigan area ( I have a friend that has a cabin there) when Covid allows. This is the BEST sled forum on the interwebs. We had 2 ft of snow come over night a few days ago then a day later the rain took every bit of it, lol, the weather here flip flops till about mid Jan then the snow stays and the lakes freeze up, it sure will be nice to get out for a run soon.I was looking at the trail cam for the U.P. in Michigan and they are getting a white out right now. I hear that. Our weather in Southern Ontario has been -5C and the a few days later +10C. The long range looks promising but the forecasters are saying a flip flop winter (for what that's worth). Been a tough few winters for us ice fisher guys here but mid Ontario where I sled has been awesome. They are in the snow belt and get tons of snow every winter
