One of our members here Studroes144 has a Cat windshield on his Viper. We've conversed about this via PM and he did confirm that it fit. Looking at pics though it would sure seem that the mounting holes are different. Can anybody tell me definitively that the Crosstour windshield with mirrors will fit?

It specifically needs to be a cat 7000 series windshield. The 7000 and viper have the same holes but they are different from all the other procross cats. The only thing I don't know is if the holes in the hood line up. On my low windshield it does not even use those holes but maybe the bigger cat ones do or maybe there are different holes. The holes on the actual headlight unit line up perfectly tho
OK I'm starting to see the differences:

Correct. The holes themselves match. If u are getting a small windshield it's no issue. No idea how the bigger ones are lining up as far as the holes on the hood on the viper. Not sure if the cat 7000 has them or not
The Yamaha Viper images would seem to match the pattern of the orange one above. The Yamaha pic won't pop up for me in the post.

I put the white mid height on mine as well. Added some decals and it looks great with the red/black/white. All the holes lined up and it fits well. The stocker looks great but when it is cold. Burrrr.. It also made mounting the Yamaha hand guards with the extra flair extensions and the metal mounting brackets easy on clearance.

I have a low in white if anybody is interested.

Its the higher windshields with the wings that go down to the body work that cause issue. I believe you would need to put a hole in body panel to secure the wing.
hmm I was looking at the Crosstour windshield. I think this one has wings. Hopefully it's a decent, easy fit.
