Just a Quick question, If I increase preload on the center shock it will give more weight transfer but willit also give me less lets say dive on the front end under decell? since this sled was new it wants to pull left under decell. under power and cruising I can one hand it but let off the gas and look out. I spoke with someone at stud boy and they said that the nytro just does that. If thats the case then fine but I thought I'd ask everyont that has one at once. the setup is currently about a little better than 1/4 inch threads showing on the center shock, rear springs to med, and front and rear straps all out. I have no studs (for now) and C&A razors and 9in shaper bars on it. I know for sure with out a question that nothing on the sled is bent or tweaked. it has done this since mile 0. I put the oft relocate on this summer and re aligned it and that helped on the constant pulling but still pulls under decell. Thanks for the help (I guess that wasnt so quick once I got typing).

One thing to checkout is the A-arms, the bushings are shot right from the factory. Get a set from Ulmer, then retest.
As for carbides 9 inches with no studs? I run 4" on my Curves, no studs and it runs and turns like it is on rails.
My center shock- stock one when it was in was on barely any pre-load-- threads were at the bottom. I now have a Air shock from Ulmer in it and run 80-90LBS in it and still same ski's and carbides. And my limiter straps are at the stock location. I did add rear suspension blocks from a Fusion to limit travel of the rear torque arm.
The darting I experienced was there until i put in the bushings, afterwards, i can run one handed at any time if needed with complete confidence.
If you go to the sticky threads and check out sled setups, you will see other's setups.

I am going to check out the arms first thing tomorrow, and for sure get a set from ulmer for it anyway. Even though I only have about 650 miles on it. And the other thing is the rear skid is just the way it came from the dealer. All the way loose on the straps. I think I might go with 96 1.325 gold diggers and 7.5 or maybe stick with 9 shaper bars. I've looked in The sticky and found what I read to be true. It's hard to find the balance between to mush lift and no turning to no lift at all.

I had less then 700 on mine when I replaced the stock plastic bushings with Ulmers. The next step is to send your shocks off to Pioneer or Carver to re-valve all 4, stock just plain sucks.
I too ride in the UP, I can take the trail junk on a Saturday nite at 60-70 without letting off and I am not beating myself up. I enjoy it, oh and I am 40 yrs old too.
