FORWARD / REVERSE ADJUSTMENT
Welll I put it back together now when I put it in forward is slips. i have been adjusting the linkage but still not right. I took it apart again and the brass fork is correct. HELP

Sounds like the bottom gear is on backwards. It is not locking in.

No I took it apart and the inner lower gear was on correctly. It sometimes moves forward, then is slipps out of gear

I heard if the chain is too tight or too loose it can fumble around in there.
