Chain case oil level

Just a quick question, the oil amount for the Apex chain case calls for 8.5 ounces or .25 of a litre, now on my dipstick in my Apex xtx has 2 level markings, one is for standard level which the 8.5 ounces puts on the full mark and the other level is if your machine has reverse which the full mark sits lower on the stick and 8.5 ounces over fills on the max level on the reverse marking, my manual calls for .25 of a litre which is 8.5 ounces, how many ounces are you guy's running in your reverse chain case? just making sure I have enough oil in my chain case, any help is well appreciated, thanks

Like OCD suggested but I just add 8.5 ounces and call it a day on my Apex's
