Seeing that I can’t run my sled before adding oil to make sure reverse works (like I could on my nytro)...do I have this togeather correctly? I think I have the reverse figured out but not 100% sure.

I’m not sure if the spring on the shift shaft is in the correct place. I had this photo on my telephone from when I regeared mine. It shows the spring on the upper shaft.

Ok thanks!...that also makes sense...trying to use parts diagram pic gets confusing...anybody else whose been in there can verify?

Better?

That looks like mine. I agree that the parts diagram does not appear to be correct. The photo that I posted earlier was taken prior to disassembly. Part of my “notes” to put it back together.

Broke one of the torx screws in half when torquing it (bottom left)...now the fun begins!

Yup, the bottom one on mine is completely stripped.

Time to tap it out and put a bigger screw in there.

Of course its the bottom screw. I thought that only happens to me!!
That sucks! I am with SilverRam. Maybe I am confused with the torque specs but I swear 12 ft lbs is way too much and the other in lb spec I assume is for case to tunnel. Dont know and never torqued them. Clean,Loctite, fingers, driver and then 1/4 in ratchet to tighten. Never mentioned this because I dont want to be blamed for leaking or broken bolts or case and it takes experience. Your call.

Isn't the trick to heat the bolt with a propane torch to break the loctite? I haven't tried but next time I will. Had to slot one to get it out this year.
