I have a 2016 LTX LE. My chain got really loose at 260 miles. I had to do mine. So I would for sure say yes at some time if you are putting that many miles on a brand new sled, that you would have to tighten your chain.

As I recall, the muffler itself wasn't that hard to reinstall. Your concern will be the gasket surviving upon removal. I purchased a copper gasket from Muffin Works for necessitating future removals. Also the springs require a bit of an effort. I used a cable tie that I looped under the spring end, pulled it into place, then simply cut it and threw it away. Cheap, easy tool.

One spring, upper inside rear. Use a single edge razor and shave next to each metal pipe after you take bolts out, but before you pull the pipes apart.
Mine split first time and reused it 2 more times. Just check for leaks.

Copper gasket from Muffin Works....re-use it over and over and over. Best $25 bucks I spent for removing/installing the exhaust.
