Nope mines been apart 5 or 6 times already and not a leak. It is a good reusable rubber gasket.Are you guys replacing the chain case gasket ?

I have been waiting for someone to attempt welding a nut on the lower part of the chain case to install a drain bolt.
And yes I know its magnesium and not a typical weld job. But you can weld magnesium if the right filler material is used from what I read.
I assume if you found a magnesium nut to weld, it is possible.
