Changing gear case oil help

Trying to figure out how the reverse gear and fork and spring go back together

Looks like a lot of unnecessary rotating mass, ditch it for the sake of less HP drain and increased reliability.

It does look heavy doesn't it.......................but a LOT less then lifting the back end up to turn around.
