I Needed to change my hand warmers and got new grips too.

Air compressor nozzle in one end of the bar helps to "inflate" the grip so you can slide it on. Also, this may be gross, but spit makes a nice lubricant that dries over a few hours. Worked on my GF's dirtbike grips.

I used RSI gel wrap grips this last year with the stock elements. Very comfortable grips, just have to be careful removing old grips. Easy to install, just wrap them on and tape the ends.
