Hey,
Found a cheap and easy way to polish my Nytro XTX Tunnel. Bought a drill polishing kit from PA ($31) and then bought Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish ($10) used a few rags ($5). Turned out nice and only took 3 to 4 hours to do as it had never been done since I owned sled.

Looks real nice, maybe you could stop by my place and show me how? Coffee or beer?

That looks good! Usually I just use rags and the same polish. I found that the mothers powerball thing just turns black right away and becomes useless. Whats your secret? lol

The problem with the power ball is it is fosm and not an actual buffing wheel. I bought the Aluminum buffing kit from Princess Auto (http://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/powerfist-aluminum-buffing-and-polishing-kit/A-p8263014e). I used the brown stone for rough patches and then used the Mother's product instead of white diamond stone. The buffing pads will become black and that is OK. I did use the buffing wheels twice with Mother's and once by hand.

I also watched this youtube video.
Very helpful.

Mothers Billet polish works the best. It's hard to find sometimes though.

I did my Apex, started wet sanding with about 1500 then went to 2500 and buffed with white diamond many times. Now I have the guy that does my truck rims and tanks do it. He charges $100 for the first time and $50 after they have been done once. He did three sleds in 2 hours the last time he stopped.

is that a carbon fiber wrap material on your tank shroud and tail cover

How do you like that Mountain Mod seat?
Love the Mountain Mod seat. I bought the adjustable seat that allows for you to remove foam strips to soften or stiff seat. The extra 2" of seat height allows for me to stand easier when riding off trail and allows for better control when seated as I have 3.5" Rox risers.

Would suggest this to anyone as it's an easy install versus have to take old seat apart and reupholstering.

autosol aluminium polish put mother polish to shame all you need is a few wrag and some elbow grease no buffing wheel needed and i did try all i could find mother ,blue magic and princess auto kit and i found the autosol is almost effort less compare to all the other stuff
