I was just wondering how I should check the gear oil? Where should the oil level be on the dipstick?. Should the pin be screwed in or should it only rest on top of the hole? .
There are no lines, only the letters "revers" (the dealer said that I should use that side since I have reverse ) .

Look more carefully, there IS a line. Plug cork into hole, pull out, look at line. Doesn't matter if its overfilled - its not like the motor oil.

there is two separate levels, one for reverse and one for standard. Obviously use the correct line and push the dipstick all the way in.
Gees, I didn`t mean "screw it in" , it doesnt have threads hehe
, I simply forgot.
Hmm we didn`t see a line..
On my friends venture the oil barely climbed a 1mm on the dipstick, so I guess he could pour some oil into his chaincase then
.
I guess it`s OK as long as the oil is within reach of the dipstick.
