Hey guys did I miss anything about Chris Reid stopping his Snowmobile blog! Its been since November now and no new blogs. I thought maybe he was off for holidays but with 2017 model release right around corner you would think he would have posted somthing.

Maybe he's finally separated from Yamaha? Maybe a precursor to the end of Yami sleds?

I tell ya what, im hearing a lot of bits and pieces from different sites that add up to one thing. Yamaha may still put its brand on a sled but the yamacat thing is here to stay, and less yamaha for sure. But im still drinking the koolaid!!

Maybe Yamaha is only going to produce and sell it's engines? Gawd I've love to see the 1049 3 cyl. in an AXYS chassis! Yamaha would most certainly see the desired ROI on something like this.

Maybe Chris knows this and has shut down?

I'm sure someone on this site knows Chris. Maybe they can provide some insight on his whereabouts?

Or maybe they were told not to say anything......

I don't know Chris but had the sames questions as everyone about his blog but more importantly his well being; So, I actually messaged Yamaha Canada on Facebook a couple weeks ago just simply asking if everything was OK? They did reply and said CR is good and well, and in fact in the states doing some business with the 17's. Didn't say the blog was shut down, so I think we will hear from him again once the 2017's are released.
