I think my clutches are out of alignment or something i have blown 4 belts on my vector in 4k miles and my 5th one is begining to come apart. They keep coming apart in strands and yes they are going in the right direction. Is there a special tool or way to align my clutches or check if they are out of line?

something aint right. buy some good quality guages and git r done. mine are from max performance, 2 tools one for offset the other for center to center. the vendors on this site should be able to hook you up.

4 belts is like $200. It only costs about $70 to have the dealer set the alignment, if that's the problem?

my sled is going in next week, they said if its not my alignment it could be a broken motor mount!!I hope not that will be expensive!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont waste your money on guages, just remove the shims on the shaft and let the clutch float , Been doing this for 30 years with great results. ;)!
