I always blow my primary and secondary clutches out with compressed air. Anyone ever wash their clutches in soapy water? What do other people do?

Yes you can use soapy water (like dawn ) . Some people even remove them and stick them in the dishwasher but don't that when your wife is home unless you want a devorice . Then take scotch brite pad and scuff up the sheves alittle . Hope this helps

Dawn works the best, and x2 the part on the dishwasher they get very clean but make a mess.

I take mine apart and wash it with hot soapy water in the sink. Then I polish the helix. It moves in and out a lot smoother.
Spray car wash with it running and the track off the ground but not to close. Comes out good just blow out with air.
