Just wondering what everyone is doing to their clutch setups after changing to the 22 tooth top gear?
Using the stock clutching? Installing a kit? Proline, Ulmer or ??

Actually; going up 1 tooth on top should lower rpm,s with stock clutching & it will work better & not overrev as much. On snow with-out picks I found 8-8200 rpm holesht & rpm,s climbing worked the best.

Thanks Turk .... the gear and chain should be here this week.
Hopefully that is the case and the stock clutching will be okay (at least for now). I just pic'd the track last week and was hoping to get out for a few more runs today to get a baseline before the gear swap but it was -40 with the windchill so it didn't happen.

I will be up north on biz week of jan 28 in pas/flin flon/thompson. Your probably gonna also need a helix about a 48/42 with stock weights to get rpm,s in the sweet spot.

I am new to Yamaha .... where's a good place to get the helix from?
Are you bringing your sled when you come up? If so, and you have time, maybe you could go for a run with JD and I.
