xtx ,1.75, backcountry, gearing 19/39. It will not hold the rpms indeep snow (7900 and up to 8900 and back down again). I guess its clutching. What has worked for others (rivets -springs helix ) Pulls very had out of the hold.

If i can get my xtx to pull 9300 on harpack I can hit 86-8700 in deep snow. For me that is basically stock clutching with k & n filters.

I am using a 1.375 but clutching so it,s 6-700 rpm over peak will get ya very close as i have set up others with 1.75 & bigger tracks.

Can I not get enought backshift with this nytro to not have to go that much over rev? If I do clutch it for 9200 on had back do you think I could bring the rpms back to 8800 with a shockwave, on the trail then ajust the shockwave back for powder and have it stay at 8800? I know you arent a fan of them but it may
