can you elaborate?? I lost you with the plug seals.....
 
On the Collet units, the head phone jack that plugs in to the unit has a special rubber end on it, the jack itself is normal but the rubber surrounding it creates a seal when intalled. The only reason I say extra set is if you wanted to quickly change from one helmet to another. If you are able to locate the wires for the headphones in an easy to access location you could just pull them out of one helet and put into the other. Personally I would just get a extra set, much easier and then you can place the wires ina more permenant location.
 
We use Collets also. Quite handy for mountian riding. Common phrases, "I'm going to check out this draw" "don't come down here" and my personal favorite, "Are you stuck,,,,AGAIN"! :drink:
