I did it this way:
Loosened the hose going in to the lower heat exchanger inside the tunnel. When the flow stopped, I connected an industrial vacuum cleaner to the heat exchanger and put the hose that I loosened in to a bucket of water. Schwoooosch and 2,5 gallons cleaned out the whole system. Then I put that together, loosened the bleed screw, raised the sled in the back to level the rad and started the filling.
Worked fine!

Ok Sounds easy enough. One question though, where is this bleed screw? Also I'm guessing you have to fill start and let suck in and fill again and again until it doesn't take anymore coolant?I did it this way:

My sled has the tunnel cooler, so I bled #12 and #14 (New).
Yep, fill her up and start the sled, fill her up, bleed, fill, start and so on until it's full and no air pockets.
CAUTION! Take it easy when loosing the rad cap when the coolant is hot!

Great thanks! Mine has the tunnel cooler also so I'm glad I could see this. Now I just need to get the crack in my front heat exchanger welded up. Haha![]()

So without the extended tunnel cooler kit - where is the bleed screw?
Also, Weldion - the hose that is removed on the tunnel cooler is part #7 - correct?
thanks

So I tired this out last night. I fill the rad up with coolant until it stopped. I then ran the sled for about 5 min and it sucked the coolant in. I then opened the bleed screw for the tunnel cooler and i had coolant running out of it so I put the screw back in and I'm assuming the tunnel cooler is good to good now. I have a little more then 1 gallon of coolant in the sled now and when I ran it after I bled the tunnel cooler the motor wasn't sucking in anymore coolant there was just a little bit spilling out over the top the rad cap. Does this mean I'm good and have no air in my system? I never bled the other bleeder behind the battery as it looks like a pain to get off. How much Coolant does a nytro with a tunnel cooler take? I would like to know if I'm getting close to full. I felt the heat exhanger and it was getting hot but the tunnel cooler didn't feel nearly as hot. Is this normal? Sorry I'm asking so many question. I'm going riding this weekend and really don't want to be messing with coolant and overheating problems.![]()
