I think my fan has stopped working anyone else having this issue or any suggestions on testing it

What temp did your sled get too? Mine kicks on at about 195f

Not sure but she was over heating and fan was not on will have to check the temp

I would start by checking the fuses under the hood.

Yes check the fuse , on my nytro it blow out a few times not sure way but it did !

I bet it's a bad fan and it keeps popping fuses. Replace the fan and you will be all set.

When the fan is running and the sled is stopped, is it better for the engine, to keep it idiling and let the fan cool or shut it off to cool?

Dad treats his like a diesel truck. Once its running its only off for lunch or fuel stops. We rode an icy day Jan 3 i think it ran all day.

There should be no problem with that fan, it is made in Italy, LOL.

May be why we have no problems, but we never let them sit and idle (very bad for sled not fully broken in) and rarely let the Viper get hot enough for the fan to click on. I also put ice scratchers on it for warm days.
