Well, it had to happen I suppose. Turns out the manufacturer couldn't use a tube product after all and used solid bar. That doesn't really mean much for anyone except that the cost is going to $17 each from here out. Lets hope that's the last increase for a while.

The first batch is gone as of tonight. I'm in the process of re-ordering so I'm looking at 20-30 days. I'm not going to do a pre-order on this batch so if you want the quickest possibly notification on when the next batch arrives, click on the "notify me" button on the Product page.

hey crewchief, how long does it take to register on your site. Tried to put a order in this afternoon, but never got my e-mail saying I registered.

Guess I have to wait till the next batch now anyway, but want to get it so I can order when available.

You don't need to receive the email to order but it will contain your randomly generated password for logging back on. Let me see if I can resend it....

Hey folks, still a great deal @ 17.00 each.
I,ve got my sled apart waiting for my new ones to arrive and I can tell you that whoever it was from Yamaha that allowed the stock supplied donuts to be used in there should be kicked in the b@lls by everyone that has to change them out. And I would say, one kick per donut ! The good part of all this is, it gave me a good chance to clean up all the aluminium shields under the seat and the cover for the rear muffler. It also gave me a chance to seal up the dozen or so small holes in the top of the tunnel. so it shouldn.t leak down the sides of the tunnel and mess that up while riding next winter.

Hey Crewchief, any plans to get some of these for the phazers? I dug in and to take a look at mine and they are mighty thin and pieces fell when I touched it.
