cordless impact

I like the Milwaukee combo Impact Driver and Impact drill for $199 from Northern Tool

Ditto for me- best cordless drill I've owned and the impact driver is good too (18V Lithium). Best features are the battery has a power level indicator and the drill has a light (never search for the flashlight again).

i use my dewalt 18v one around home alot in the yard. saves hauling out the compressor when i want to tear something apart. use the impact driver with the 1/4" and 3/8" drive as well. i usually carry the impact with us on long trips and a 75watt inverter to plug a charger into in the truck.

I work various construction jobs & you should look at the newer dewalt 20v impact/drill combo. Very light & compact but incredibly powerful.

If you look around I have seem the kit on sale for 269 with charger & 2 batteries . Would be great for the quad & will shock you at how much power they have & they're so compact.

I use Panasonic tools for my daily work but moocho $$

I use 18v milwaukee 1/2 inch impact works really good. Rated for 450 ft/lbs not sure if it will do that but it is alot stronger than my snap-on air one rated for 400

Which ever one you decide to get make sure it has a 18 volt or higher lithium ion battery. Avoid the Ni Cad no matter what brand. I use an Hitachi 18 volt with Lithium Ion and it totally blows the Ni Cad one I had away in every way. It also came in a case with a pretty good spot light. The beauty about Lithium is it is ready to go when you pick it up as it holds its charge much better without the memory problem of Ni Cad.

I use a corded impact. Have a Black & Decker Bulldog and a Snap-On. Use either one of them out on the road inconjunction w/ one of my power inverters that plugs into the lighter.

I have a MATCO cordless impact (1/2") and a Ingersoll Rand cordless (1/2") the matco is head and shoulders above the IR, but I let the dummies use the IR for everyday things that dont require the grunt the MATCO has. I would recommend the MATCO to anyone
