I bought an Attak with the CPR kit and was wondering how much fuel capacity i lost from stock? Do you guy's riding flat lander trail's with this kit at 8lb have range problem's. I ride central and northern Wisconsin trail's, Any thought's. Thanks

I think it is 1 gallon lost. I only got 80 to 90 mile range running 12 lbs boost. But then I am in the throttle alot.

Do you guy's find it hard to make it to the next gas stop or do i not get to use the Turbo so i can make it to the next stop? You know you loose a big chunk in the corner but you have no pump or recessed area where the pump sits in this tank.

I will not give it as much throttle when the tank is getting low. I would suggest looking for fuel at 70 miles. I did run out once last year, but it was because the gauge was wrong and when CPR did the install, they never re-bent the float mechanism to work with the new tank. I think the most I got was 90 miles out of a tank and I know I was on fumes.

BBY, Did you see the small gas can's and holder's(1.5 gal each) from Yamaha that bolt on to the side of the tunnel and just above the running board's. I wonder if they would work on the Apex? Three extra gallon's would make all the difference in the world. Kinda pricey at like $230 a pair. Kviper

Yes I saw those, but for me would ruin the look of the sled. I ride mostly in Wisconsin, and theres not to many places in our state that you cant get gas when you need it.

Matt adding an rb3 to your set-up will increase mileage a fair bit and give throttle response and more top end pull due to better fueling and ability to optimize timing for a boost aplication, the stock timing curve can be improved alot even though you are not detonating there is room for improving, trust me on the dyno on pump gas pulling timing out made us scratch our heads in disbeleif.

Kevin, I am sure it does, but I have spent enough on the sled already. Its faster than 99% of the guys than I run into, and thats good enough for me.

Not to up on a rb3, I assume it replaces the current fuel controller or is it in addition to. And what is the cost?

it replaces the current fuel controller kevin, Much better then what we are running now. Plus you can pull timing and have a stutter option for racing.

Thanks aja, Sounds like it will increase mpg and all around performance? What is the price tag and is it plug and play?

give dave @ powderlites a call he will give you all the details on it and price. from what I gather it is pretty straight and easy to hook up.
