Curve skis

I hate the Tuners .... Curves on everything I own. 3 Apex's, 2 Vipers and Nytro. I also run the slim jim dually in conjunction... awesome in all conditions.
I only put 500-600 miles on my curve 4" carbides this on my nytro and they are shot, which carbides and what length are you running on ur nytro?

If you have studs run 6" round bar, if you don't have studs you could run a 4" round bar. That all you need no special bars. I have had my curves on two nytro xtx and now they are on my second viper, best skis made!

Agree!!! 6" round bar works awesome on my sled with 144 studs.

I run 6" slim Jim duallys.
Thanks for your input! I threw the stock skis back on last night with deuces (4.5") so i can ride one last time for the year before the warm weather and loved the no darting but pushed much more than the 4" single on the curves, those dually's push much on the curves?

I have a set of 6" slim jims here ready to install. Not enough snow to warrant wrecking a new set of duallys so I'm working with my toe first to see if I can get the Shapers to work better first. I'm also going to try the bite harder sharpener on my shapers to see of I can recover them.

I love them. I don't think they push much until they loose quite a bit of their edge.

You might try a half pipe mod. That's what some people call it. I run 6" shapers with this out front and find it works great. This is SLP's version that they sell.

Is that towards the back of the ski? I'm thinking of trying of making my own snow trackers with some stainless steel.

Under the front first bolt. I used 1.25" SS tubing cut in half and both ends rounded up mine are only 2.25" long and have one hole. I have a pair on my older 500 XTC that are 4.5" and have 2 bolts thru them. They have lasted 3000 miles and cost me nothing to make. just make sure you put the half pipe against the Keel then the skeg over them to hold in place and use lock tite on the bolt . no problems transitioning over rail road track or trailer lips.

I ditched the tuners and put curves with 6" round bars,, They were worth every penny, even with the Canadian exchange. They dart a little but nothing compared to the Rush I rode before my viper.

I can't see any mounting hardware for the -14 Viper on the Curve website? Only -15 and the new Sidewinder?

What mounting hardware are you guys running in -14 Viper?

You can mount curve skis on on a 14 viper using all the stock ski hardware. One of the advantages of buying curve from me....you don't have to buy a hardware kit. ;)! I provide instructions on how to use stock hardware. Its very simple. I sell the leader kit which is black skis, black loops, and 4" runners. The kit lists for 380. I'm currently running a sale for TY members which is 15% off all online store orders. Sale is good til end of September. Send me a PM if interested.
