Where did you get the top end intercooler end tank? It looks like a pre made that you closed off. I know HKS makes them but I haven't found a dealer. What are you doing for a fuel tank?

an ebay retailer, just-intercoolers maybe? can't remember for sure but it was way cheaper to buy a premade one with the right size core and modify it than it was to just buy the core alone from other retailers.

Intercooler ducting is done, got the tunnel cooler hooked up, air filter is done, just gotta wire the new gauges in and mount the fuel tank! gonna run the stock tank moved back till i can get a custom one built.

Finally got it all together (with a seriously botched seat cover) and got it broke in. Just at 8-9 psi so far but it seems to pull pretty hard, response is faster than i expected, might have to try the .86 exhaust housing as it is pretty much always boosting, good for boondocking but it would be nice to be able to cruise on the prairies here.

Where did you find a fitting with that unique thread? I couldn't find that size anywhere...
Just ran across this post and can offer some help. The threads in question are pipe thread but not NPT. They are Japanese tapered pipe thread, and are identical to British Tapered Pipe Thread. These are called BSPT. They are NOT interchangeable with the US NPT. Although they use the same diameter dimension of 1/4", they are of a different thread pitch. NPT has 27 threads per inch whereas BSPT has 28 threads per inch. They also have different thread angles (55 vs 60 degrees) and profiles. The proper fitting is available so I would not try to thread an NPT fitting into the block. It is akin to trying to use an M8 nut on a 5/16 bolt. Hope this helps to clear things up.
