I went last night and it was a but thin, in fact Cat was not even there. Several boosted 2015 Vipers and a strange Viper with a strange skid along with a Phazer. Wierd thing is ALL the sleds had the suspension set so hard you couldn't even bounce the sled and have it move. Watched people try to pull the Viper over and walk away talking about how heavy it was. I talked to the Yamaha rep and he said that is how they come and did not want to set the pressure in the floats down so you could pull them over. Odd.........

Turbo sled had 8JP belt and lots of belt dust <sigh> Doesn't give me a warm fuzzy about Yamaha fixing the clutch issue by 2015 but all is not lost as we know how to fix it with a primary spring, spacer and a set of weights in case it doens't get fixed.

One of the Yamaha reps said he watches the forums, for what its worth.

I talked about our "fix" and was asked to forward it to Yamaha and gave an email address to send it to. The way they talked it seemed like they were already working on something as what I was saying seemed familiar to them. I hope so.

Did you ask how many kms the machine had with belt dust on it? Who knows how many demo rides and dealer shows that machine has seen.....
the stiff shocks are kinda a bummer since the 15's are really nice to toss on their side, bu I can see it being a bit of a liability if some one was to pull hard and have it flop on them
Hope you enjoyed the show! :yam:

The 2015 Viper that my dealer has has a different CDI box. Any discussion of that change?

The reason they don't want you tipping it over is probably due to an over zealous attorney and an insurance provider. If someone would happen to get hurt they would get sued. I can see their point.

I supppose, but some rather large guys were tipping them anyway and noting how heavy it felt. People were tipping the Poos and the Doos though
