Rode the 07 Yamaha sleds last winter at a demo and fell in love. Now that I have an income I'm considering buying a used or holdover 06 Apex. My question is: what are the differences between the different models? I know the RTX has the Fox Float shocks. I also know that the ER has the rear suspension that can be adjusted on the fly. I really like that idea and was wondering if only the ER had it or if the other models did too. What are the other main differences? Thanks for the help and hopefully I can find one that fits me before the snow flies!

RTX has the Floats up front; GT has the Clickers, ER has regular.
All Have the mono rear that is adjustable via the dial on the side of the tunnel except for the GT that has the electric ohlins adjusted by the hand warmer button.

The best deal for the money is the Standard.. it still rides as good as any and is alot cheaper..

I love my GT... but the rear shock has its problems.. Ive had 3 broken shock wires and 1 blown shock , and i also notice my new rear shock is alreay leaking..

The fox floats on the RTX are proven and seem to last..

All you really need to do is find the sled and color you like the best and buy that one.. For me it was the black sled (i was actually bored with blue) but i really like the RTX also..

The 07 RTX has the ProActive suspension, not the Mono Shock suspension.
