Thinking of buying a Nytro and I already have an Apex. Just wonder how much more frequent I would stop for gas with the Nytro?

My Nytro XTX gets 15 MPG consistently and on wide trails up north at 45-50 mph I get close to 17 MPG so roughly 90-110 miles per tank. I put on a Trail Tank that replaces the stock tank and now can go 135-145 per tank depending on trail and snow conditions.

I ride with my brother sometimes. He runs a RX1 albeit it's carbed but still the same motor basically. I usually beat him by 2-3 mpg(cdn) We ride the same. If I'm out on mixed tight and open sweeping trails I usually average 19.5-20 mpg(cdn) I haven't gotten better then 20 that I know of yet. If I'm out in the powder all day and running across country I usually average in the 12-15 mpg.
Trail riding I don't like to push it to far past 100 miles.

I average about 6.3km per litre. On the stock 28l tank that is 176km per tank. Based on snow conditions, temp and riding style that average can change a fair bit but its a pretty close assesment. MS

My 2011 xtx gets consistent 15mpg unless riding in deep heavy snow. The furthest I have dared to stretched one tank is 105 miles.

I have got as low as 9 mpg and as high as 22. Canadian gallons are even bigger than Texas ones. Extra fuel storage pretty much required.

Trail tank was a game changer on the the Nytro for me. Before, at 150kms on the odometer you better be headed for fuel. Now, your fuel windows are wide open. MS

I get about the same on my 12 xtx, 15 mpg on average. I just mounted the yamaha gas caddies for now. This summer I will be going with the trail tank as i dont really care for them hanging off my sled. A friend gave them to me since he sold his sled so I couldnt beat the price for now.

Worst...80 miles (warm day wet snow on ungroomed logging road)
Best...116 miles (Cold day, fast hard trails)
Both days I went until I ran out (had caddies)
