I just picked up a 08 nytro and I'm thinking of fabbing up a turbo kit. I have built a couple turbo cars both front mount and rear mount so I have a good understanding of what needs to be done.
I would like to run a low boost set-up on a stock nytro motor.
I ride ontario trails and will not be climbing any mountains.

I have a couple uestions. (sorry my cue button does not work)
Will I need an intercooler on 8ish psi.
What turbo is everyone using
How do I take care of the fueling. Is it as simple as a fuel controller or a ecu reflash ?
Anyone have any pictures of a diy rear mount.
Is there an easy was to tap into the stock oil system to get oil to feed the turbo
Will I need a oil scavenge pump to get the oil back to the engine from the turbo.

I have most of the parts around the garage now except the turbo.
Any input would be great.
thanks

I'm also interested to see what people have to say. I'm building a kit using a Mitsubishi 16t turbo and a fuel injection I bought of Neil Mclaren.( you should check out his system on snowest). Also if you find out what turbo you want to use I may be Able to find you a used one cheap. Good luck on your build I hope you get all the info you need.

1. Intercooler- yes. Cold air makes horsepower. Hot air not so good.
2. Turbo- You can start small but it's addicting and you'll want more. Been there done that. GT2860RS
3.Fuel control- Go with the rapid bike(RB3)
4.Oil- Ulmer racing and powderlites has a kit.

Honestly for headache and time. Just contact one of the two advertisers listed above and get one of there tried and proven kits. Less time wrenching and more time for big smiles while your squeezing the throttle.

I sounds like I could only run around 180hp or so with the amount of time and money I'm willing to invest. Thats alot of work for 50hp and I'm not sure I would have it done before the snow flys
Maybe next year . Whats a good used kit going for
I have a bunch of NitrousExpess stuff kickin around from my old nitrous motor. Maybe I'll put together a little wet kit. 30-50hp would be nice.

Just buy Ulmers 180hp kit..it's not rear mount but it's a great deal..all the guess work is done...bolt on and fly.

Where is it on Snowest? Can you post the link?

I found it. If I still lived in Belleville I would show you how to copy and paste.
